LETTER FROM THE PUBLISHER

mail print

After countless projects, I am still a firm believer in the power of usability testing. The results never lie. And the solution is always the same - the K.I.S.S. theory of keeping it simple. In fact, just last week, a short study we conducted identified several key issues we were able to change on a soon-to-be-launched site for one of our favorite clients. At gotomedia, we continue to incorporate usability testing, customer interviews and research into nearly every project we touch.

Whether you are a small company with always insufficient funds or a bigger organization trying to keep within budget, in this issue of the gotoreport, learn how to conduct 'Café Testing' the new low calorie high taste testing process. We're happy to announce a new column called The User Advocate on all things user experience by Dave Rogers - starting with "Everything I know about usability I learned from scooping ice cream". Finally, search engine and marketing whiz Stephen Spencer shares some marketing secrets in an article entitled "Online Customer Service: Make It Easy For Your Customer To Do Business With You".

As always, we welcome your feedback!
